Sunni Sky's Ice Cream (concept)
A scroll-driven concept site for a famous roadside ice cream stand. All 123 real flavors become a full-screen wall that melts into color under your cursor, and the shop's legendary waiver-required pepper flavors get the warning-label moment they deserve.

Sunni Sky's is a real, much-loved homemade ice cream stand on a country highway in Angier, North Carolina: 130+ flavors, a 4.8-star average across thousands of reviews, and two pepper flavors so hot the shop requires a signed waiver. This site is a working concept built on spec to show what that reputation could look like online. You can scroll the live demo here.
The idea
The stand's whole appeal is abundance and personality, so the page is built as a fast series of cuts, like flipping through a summer evening: arrive, see the flavors, meet the dare, see the crowd, get directions.
The centerpiece is the flavor wall. Every one of the 123 flavors on their published list appears as a tile in a case that unfurls over the whole screen as you scroll. On a desktop, dragging your cursor through the wall melts each flavor into its own pastel color; on a phone, your fingertip does the same job.
Details that do the selling
- Real data only: real flavor list, real review counts, real seasonal hours, real press mentions. Nothing invented.
- The waiver flavors (Cold Sweat and Exit Wound) get a hard cut to a dark, warning-label section, because lore that good deserves staging.
- The page is fully static, loads in well under a second, and respects reduced-motion preferences.
